PSG never did it, the great gesture of Inter Miami when Lionel Messi made his debut
The most anticipated day of all has arrived, after weeks of waiting with a lot of hype, Lionel Messi finally managed to make his official debut with Inter Miami, against Cruz Azul in the new tournament, Leagues Cup. Despite starting on the bench, Messi entered at minute 50 of the second half.
Inter Miami had a tremendous gesture with Lionel Messi, when he entered the field. In addition to applause from the entire stadium, Lionel Messi received the team captain’s ribbon, despite being new and barely adjusting to the squad… Messi is a true leader.
This was a great gesture that Paris Saint-Germain did not want to do to Lionel Messi, because they never gave him the captain’s ribbon, as there were already plenty of stars in the squad, such as Kylian Mbappé, Marquinhos and Neymar Jr…
Messi’s reaction to Inter Miami’s goal:
After suffering for the first few minutes, Leo was seen shouting euphorically for 1-0, so much so that he stood up from his seat and, with both arms raised, shouted for the goal. Then he let out a “fine, fine” and from there he was seen very smiling and exchanging the odd word with Josef MartÃnez.
