UEFA Champions League Draw: Barcelona face Porto and 2 Other Teams in Group H
With the group stages of the 2023/24 UEFA Champions League set to kick off in a short time, draws to place teams in groups took place today in Monaco, with former Barcelona defender Eric Abidal conducting the draw along with Joe Cole.
Barcelona had been placed in Pot 1 of the draw, alongside the likes of Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain, Sevilla, Bayern Munich, SL Benfica, Feyenoord, and Napoli.
And they have been paired up with FC Porto, who were in Pot 2, in Group H.
The draw of pot 3 saw Barcelona and Porto be joined by Ukrainian giants Shakhtar Donetsk in the group. And the last team in Group H are debutants and Belgian champions Royal Antwerp.
Given the situation in Ukraine, Barcelona will be playing their away game against Shakhtar at a neutral venue.
